Who Are We?

The Panel is independent and is affiliated to the national ‘umbrella’ organisation Disability Equality Scotland (DES).

It has a membership of unpaid volunteers who wish to help achieve our aims. Membership is flexible to cover occasional input on specific matters and opted in professional expertise.

What we do. Main examples include:

  • Offer help and advice If you are a disabled person needing help with access issues.
  • Provide an access audit for your organisation.
  • Highlight accessibility access issues to organisations and media
  • Pass on good accessibility practise and examples
  • If you need help to develop or improve one of your buildings or services.
